Petter Udland Johansen is a Norwegian tenor, musician, and artistic director living in Switzerland. His artistic path is shaped by a deep love for early music, Mediterranean traditions, folk melodies, and the timeless spirit of the troubadour way of telling storys.. At the heart of his work lies the art of storytelling — giving voice to human emotions across centuries and cultures.

 

As the founder of the ensemble Hirundo Maris together with Arianna Savall, Petter has built a unique musical world that travels between epochs and landscapes. ​Together with Arianna Savall he explores ancient myths, sacred songs, and traditional sounds, crafting concert programs that blend authenticity with vivid creativity.
